  STANLEY T. ZIMMERMAN Stanley T. Zimmerman of 9 Munch Ave., died Sunday, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was 83. Mr. Zimmerman was born in Beverley Township and was a life-long area resident. He was employed as a stationary engineer with Canadian General Tower until his retirement in 1962. Mr. Zimmerman was a member of First Delta Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the First World War, enlisted with the 71st Battalion and served overseas with the 50th Battalion. He was a life-member of the Galt Legion branch No. 121. Mr. Zimmerman is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Benford, his sons, Gordon and Leonard and daughters, Beatrice (Betty) (Mrs. Percy Cox) and Mrs. Olive Urvach, all of Cambridge. Also surviving are his brothers, Albert of Cambridge and Norman in Florida and sisters, Mrs. Annie Bennett of Cambridge and Mrs. Wilfred Jay of Aberfoyle. Ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Zimmerman was predeceased by his brother, Elgin and sister, Viola. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ave., Tuesday afternoon and evening. Funeral and commital services will be held at the funeral home, Wed., 2 p.m, followed by interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Cambridge Reporter 5 Feb 1996
