    • DALGLEISH, ELIZABETH (Nee Dickson)

      Word was received of the death of Mrs. Dalgleish, a former resident of Hespeler, who passed away on Monday morning, May 11, 1931, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Snider at Shoal Lake, Manitoba. Mrs. Dalgleish was in her 93rd year, a native of Scotland. After coming to Canada, she lived for some time near Killean, later moving to Hespeler, where she resided for a number of years. She was an active member of the United Church and formerly a worker in the Salvation Army. It was about twelve years ago that she left Hespeler to reside with her daughter. Survived by two sons, Arthur Dalgleish in BC; Alex Dalgleish of Port Arthur; one daughter, Mrs. Snider; two sisters, Mrs. Calvin Washburn of Burlington; Mrs. M. Bolduc of Hespeler; and one brother, William Dickson of Orchard.
