    • Harold Plum Passes in Chicago

Word was received here that Mr. Harold Plum passed away in Chicago last Saturday at the age of 49 years. He had been afflicted with chronic rheumatism for the past ten years during which time he was almost helpless. The news of his death was received with deep regret by his many local friends and former school mates. He was born in New Hamburg a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. R Plum and spent his boyhood days in New Hamburg. After leaving here he was located in the Peace River district for some years, as well as in Manitoba and Colorado. He was married fifteen years ago to Miss Myrtle Robson, a former local school teacher. He is survived by his sorrowing widow and one daughter, Kathleen, besides three brothers and one sister, Sangster Plum, of Decatur, Ill., William and Roland Plum of Chicago, and Mrs. Herman Quirmbach, of St. Paul, Minn. The funeral was held at Chicago on Tuesday.
