    • DEATH OF MRS. FRANKLIN GOOD

It is with deep regret we chronicle the death of Mrs. Franklin Good, which took place at the residence, Albert St., at 3 p. m. Friday, at the age of 42 years, 10 months and 25 days. Deceased had been suffering from cancer for the past year and a half. In Apri1,1900, an operation was performed by Dr. Webb, which gave temporary relief. Later two cancers were removed with plasters and Mrs. Good was for several months quite well and able to do her work. Three months ago another one formed, but the best medical skill and tender nursing could not save her. She suffered severe pain, until Friday afternoon, when she passed peacefully away. Although a very great sufferer, she bore her sufferings with Christian fortitude and patience. Mrs. Good, nee Anna Mary Hahn, daughter of Mr. Hy. K. Hahn, of Heidelberg, was born in Williamsburg, in 1858 and was married to Mr. Good at Berlin, Sept. 11th, 1877. This union was blessed with 7 children, of whom three girls and one boy survive. In religion Mrs. Good was a consistent member of the Evangelical Association. The bereaved husband and family have the sympathy of their many friends in their sore bereavement. The funeral of Mrs. Franklin Good was held Monday afternoon and was attended by a large concourse of friends. After a short service at the house the cortege proceeded to the Evangelical church, where the Revs. G. D. Damm, pastor of the local congregation and M. L. Wing of Berlin, delivered appropriate and impressive discourses, the former in German and the latter in the English language. After the services the remains were taken to Mount Hope cemetery for interment.
