- Jacob Good, "son of John and Sarah (Grimm) Good, was born near Lancaster, Hoging County, Ohio, March 9th, 1840. In 1862 he came to Canada and was engaged in different places in Waterloo County, Ontario. On September 3rd, 1865, he was married to Rosena Frank who was born October 18th, 1842. Since 1891 they have resided in Berlin where he is engaged in blacksmithing and horseshoeing. His family consisted of four children"
