    • COBER, ALVIRA (Nee Brown)

      Suddenly, at her home on Walker Street in Hespeler, on Wednesday, November 29, 1944, in her 75th year. Wife of the late Aaron E. Cober, who died last Saturday. Born in Ottawa, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown, she had been a resident of this area for over half a century. She attended the United Church. Surviving are a son, Fred of Hespeler; two brothers, Harvey and Eddie Brown; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Worthington of Vancouver. Funeral services were observed at her home on Fri., Dec. 1 at 2: 30 The service at the house was conducted by Rev. George Kersey, pastor of the United Church, assisted by Rev. W. L. Hisey, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment was in Hespeler Cemetery. Pallbearers: William Guenther of Hamilton; Jack Brown of Toronto; Alex Smith of Galt; Donald Pannabaker, Leonard Cober and James D. Pannabaker of Hespeler.
