  FREDERIC KNACK HESPELER, Oct 22. Following a prolonged illness, Frederick Knack, 59, 1ifelong resident of the district, died yesterday, at his residence, Queen street west. Born in Germany, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Knack, who came to Hespeler, when the deceased was a baby of two years. Upon leaving public school, Mr. Knack, became a moulders apprentice, a trade he followed the greater part of his life. A member of the Hespeler lodge, IOOF, he was an adherent of St James' Lutheran church. Surviving are his parents, who reside at Fisher’s Mills, his wife, formerly, Ada Dean, two sons, Ernest of Hespeler and Percy in Woodstock, two daughters. Mrs. John Wildman. Hespeler and Mrs. Frank Speckeen, Preston, two brothers, Ernest, Fisher's Mills. and William, Stratford, a sister, Mrs. Trommer, Fisher's Mills and five grandsons. Funeral service will be held at the residence, at 2: 30 o'clock, Sunday. Interment will be made in Wanner’s Cemetery. Kitchener Daily Record 22 Oct 1938 pg 15
