  STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA, County of Cavalier. In County Court, before Hon. H. E. Dorval, Judge. In the matter of the estate of John Gatschene Deceased. Margaretha Gatschone, Petitioner, vs. Carolina Voll, Jacob Gatschene, Magthalena, Stemler, Katharina Stemler, Barbara Ellebrun, Mary Gatschene, Christina Welte, Mathalda Speckmann, Joseph Gatschene and John Gatschene, Respondents-Citation Hearing Proof of Will. The State of North Dakota to the above named respondents, and all persons interested in the estate of John Gatschene, deceased. You and each of you, are hereby notified that Margaretha Gatschene the petitioner herein has filed in this court a document in writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of John Gatschene, late of the town of Hope in the County of Cavalier and State of North Dakota, deceased, with her portion, praying for the admission to probate of said document as the last will and testament of said deceased, and for the issuance to Margaretha Gatchene of letters testamentary thereon, and that the said petition and the proofs of said purported will and testament will be heard and duly considered by this court on Thursday, the 5th day of January A. D. 1899, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon of that day at the court room of this court in the county court house in the city of Langdon, County of Cavalier and State of North Dakota, and you, and each of you, are hereby cited to be and appear before this court at said time and place, and answer said petition, and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer of said petition should not be granted. Courier Democrat, Langdon, North Dakota, Thu, Dec 01, 1898 Page 4 _____________ John Gatschene, Sr, ex-commissioner of the First District, who has been confined to his bed for several months with paralysis, was taken to the Morden hospital last week where he will undergo an operation which is the last hope held out of sparing the old gentleman's life.
