  • Notes 
    • Henry Schlender, 86, a life-long resident of Kitchener, died Saturday after a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 30, 1875, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Schlender. His wife, the former Louisa Bucher, died in 1921. Surviving are one son, Karl, of Sarnia; two daughters, Violet of Buffalo, Mrs. William (Alice) Burkhead of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Martha Miller of Waterloo and one grandchild. Two daughters predeceased him. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. By Very Rev. F.G. Stewart of St. Andrew's Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
