  Elijah B. Clemens, "was born April 4th, 1829. On May 18th, 1856, he was married to Mary, daughter of Adam Hess of Hespeler, Ontario. They reside near Copenhagen, Elgin County, Ontario, where he is engaged in farming. To them was born a family of four children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
