      "Magnus Berberich , widower of Anna Maria nee Berberich , and son of Joseph Berberich and Barbara Freundshig, of Uissigheim, Baden, Germany and wife Maria Spengler , daughter of Mathes Spengler and Anna Maria Stein, of Kulsheim, Baden, were married April 09, 1815 in Uissigheim, Baden, and arrived in New York September 21st 1831 on the ship La Flore. In 1832 Magnus is located on lot 13 Concesssion 1 of Beasley's Lower Block with Francis J. Reinhardt and Joseph Stoesser. In 1833 Magnus is located on Lot 80 GCT in Waterloo. Some children of Magnus and Maria Anna Berberich all born in Germany and who also came on the ship La Flore were Catharine Francisca , Eva Rosina , Margaret , Karl Charles Magnus , John Joseph and John Jacob . Children of Joseph Berberich and Theresa Weiler include John, Elizabeth , Anthony , Barbara and Joseph ."
