  Schenk, Mrs. George - At the Kitchener- Waterloo Hospital, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1972, after a brief illness, Gertrude Culhane of 390 Stirling Ave. S. Age 90, born in Hamilton, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Culhane; a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Golden Cross Group; wife of George Schenk who predeceased her in 1950; mother of Roy, Verna (Mrs. Karl Moritz), Audrey (Mrs. Carl Lang), Ortha (Mrs. Irvin Stahle) and Lucile (Mrs. Walter Rieck), all of Kitchener, and the late Weybourne; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, after 4 pm, Thursday, until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for the service at 3 pm, with Rev. John Korcok officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
