    • BERTOLLO, ORLANDO (BUD) - November 22, 1921 - June 12, 2005 Bud will be sadly missed by Ellen (Elma), his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, and his 5 children, Dave (Jean) of Oakville, Lynne (Rob) Hamilton of Ilderton, Jo-Anne (Peter) Thompson of Oakville, Sue (Bill) Leeder of Milton, and Steve Bertollo of Banff, Alberta. Bud will also be missed by his grandchildren Peter, Taia, Sarah, Jesse, Ian, Will, Dave, Jenny, Allison, Andrew, Emma and Christopher. He also leaves behind his brother Gino (Lena) Bertollo of Hamilton and is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Maraa, and his sister Livia Scapinello. Bud had a successful career with what started as Simplicity and is now Whirlpool. He was stationed in Oldenberg, Germany during the Second World War. Bud was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 272. Over the years Bud was very involved in the growing community of Hespeler. He was a trustee on the Hespeler School Board and was on Hespeler Town Council. Bud worked tirelessly for many years for the Hespeler Minor Hockey and spent many enjoyable years coaching. He spent much of his retirement enjoying the company of his children and grandchildren, friends, and golfing partners. Bud's family will receive friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a memorial service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 272 being held at 6: 30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Branch 272 Legion would be greatly appreciated.
