I, Erasmus Beitschy…I will and order that all my just debts, funeral testamentary and all other expenses be paid by my Executors herein after name out of my estate so soon after my decease as possible. I will and order that my wife Rosalia, carry on the farm until the oldest son comes of age, but if she should see fit at any time to give up the farm then I will and order that my Executors shall let the farm to be worked on shares until the oldest son comes of age and that some of my friends or my wife's friends shall have the first chance to work the farm on shares if any wishes to do so, if not to any whom my executors see fit. I Will and order that if my wife Rosalia gives up farming, then I Will and Order that my Executors shall sell all my personal property with the exception of one horse and harness, a light wagon, two cows, our beauro[sic] three beds and bedsteads, one stove and pipe, one table, six chairs, one coboard[sic], One sink dishes and all wearing apparel and two pigs all of which I bequeath to my wife Rosalia as long as she remains my widow - and no longer, further I will and order that my Executors do build a House conveniently to the Barn for my wife Rosalie to live in and likewise the Orchart [sic] for her own use as long as she remains my widow. I will and order that my wife shall have the yearly income of the farm for herself and children until the eldest son comes of age providing she remains my widow. I will and order that my wife Rosalia shall have one third of the income paid to her yearly from the time the oldest son comes of age, during her natural life, providing she remains my widow. I will and order that my homestead farm lot No. 102, German Company Tract, Upper Block, in the Township of Waterloo aforesaid, I give devise and bequeath unto my sons John and Joseph Samuel Beitshy and to their heirs forever to be equal divided between my two sons namely John and Joseph Samuel and for the same I will and order that my said sons John and Joseph Samuel or their heirs shall pay unto my Executors for the benefit of my two daughters, namely Catharine & Magdalane or their heirs the sum of one thousand dollars to be equally divided between my two daughters, namely Catharine and Magdalane or their heirs. I will and order that my Executors pay to my daughter Catharine or her heirs the sum of five hundred dollars when the eldest son comes of age and I will and order that my Executors pay to my daughter Magdalane or her heirs, the sum of five hundred dollars when she comes of age, further I will and order that if any of the mentioned heirs should die without heirs then his or her portion shall be equally divided among the surviving heirs and as for the rest of my personal property, if there should be any when my oldest son comes of age shall be equally divided amongst my heirs and lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my brother Jacob Beitshy and my friend Isaac Martin Executors of this my Last Will and Testament….
