Mrs. Mosburger was born in Formosa and was a former resident of St. Agatha, she was a member of St. Agatha RC Church and the CWL of the church. Dear mother of Rita (Mrs. Orville Heimpel) of Waterloo, Theresa (Mrs. Clare Wisdom) of Breslau, Clarona (Mrs. Lester Conrad) of RR 1, Kenilworth, Hilaria (Mrs. Robert Gouscher) of Kitchener and Helen (Mrs. Carl Kuhn) of Guelph; sister of Albert Schnitzler of Walkerton and John Schnitzler of Langdon, N.D. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, John Mosburger in 1960, her parents, Nicolas and Teresa Schnitzler; three brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Mosburger's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 p.m., this evening (Thursday) and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Agatha RC Church at 10: 30 a.m. (Saturday), with Rev. Gene Tyson officiating. Interment to follow in St. Agatha RC cemetery.

    ELMER SPIELMACHER April 11, 1921 - January 19, 2008 Passed away, peacefully, at Sunnyside, in his 87th year, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Lorraine (nee Lesperance) for 60 years. Beloved father of Linda Horn (Bob Simpson) of Waterloo, Carol Walsh (Dan) of Markham, Maxine Freeland (Brad - predeceased) of Orillia, Debbie Belkwell of Beaverton and Patrick of Kitchener. Dear Grandpa to Alan, Coralie, Hollie, Matthew, Anita, Michael (predeceased), David, James, Jeff, Jennifer, Billy and Lori. Great Pipi Grandpa to seven great-grandchildren. Precious uncle to "Baabarra" and many other loving nieces and nephews. Elmer was a Second World War veteran and served Canada overseas with distinction in the Canadian Scotties infantry division. Elmer, the last surviving member of his family is now reunited with his parents William Spielmacher and Agatha (Druar); brothers Fr. John, Leander, Albert, Sylvester, Carl, Stan and sisters Katherine, Edna and Corrine. Elmer's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 11: 30 to 12: 15 p.m. Funeral service at 12: 30 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home.
