MARTIN, Elvina (Mrs. Onias G.) - Peacefully went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, October 24, 2008, at Seaforth Manor. Elvina (Martin) Martin in her 97th year, formerly of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Onias G. Martin (1962). Loving mother of Irvin (Jeannette) Martin of Clinton, Elmer (Vera) Martin of Bowmanville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Craig and Rhoda Martin and Patricia and Andrew (Ashley) Martin and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Micah, Leah and Jalyssa Martin. Predeceased by her parents, Aaron and Susannah Martin; her brothers and sisters, Alson, Edward, Ervin, Josiah, Oliver, Maryann, Sidney, Elmeda, Adina, David, Minerva and Orville. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Monday, transfer will be made to the Wallenstein Bible Chapel for funeral service at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the Hawkesville Cemetery. In her memory, donations to International Teams, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
