HILKER, Roy - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Monday, Dec. 24, 1979, Roy Hilker of 295 Sheldon Ave. N., Kitchener, aged 67 years. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. For many years he was an employee of J. M. Schneider's Ltd. and was a mernber of the company's ex-Serviceman's Club and the 25-Year Club. He was also a member of the Marmo Club and the Kitchener's Senior Citizen's Club.
Husband of the former Romayne Steppler; father of Paul of Kitchener, Philip at home and Elizabeth (Mrs. Brian Seeds) of Kitchener; brother of Mrs. Nona Diss of Trenton, Mich. Five grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Amos Hilker and the former Annie Hett, one brother Fred, a sister Mrs. Ed Schmidt and a sister in infancy.
Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until noon on Thursday, when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eric Reble officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
Memorial contributions as expressions of sympathy may be made to the K-W and District Association for the Mentally Retarded or the Television Min- istry of St. Peter's Church.

HILKER, Philip \endash Passed away peacefully, into the waiting arms of our Lord and Saviour, on Sunday, May 4, 2003.
He is the special and much loved son of Romayne and the late Roy Hilker. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Louise and Elizabeth Steppler and Amos and Annie Hilker and his Godparents Gord and Evelyn Raddatz. Philip will be remembered with great affection and love by his sister, Elizabeth (Brian) Seed and his brother Paul (Sue). He is also remembered by his nephews, Shawn (Valerie), Patric, Christopher (Catherine) and Trevor and his nieces, Tracey and Shannon as well he will be remembered by his great-nieces, Michelene and Maxeen and his great-nephews, Trystan, Jordon and Jonathan.
Philip attended New Dawn School and then worked at the Kinsmen Centre for 31 years. He was a member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Special Olympics and enjoyed swimming and 5 pin bowling. He also had a great love of music and spent many hours listening to his large collection of tapes. Before his illness he resided with his family and then spent two years at the David Fisher Residence.
Visitation will be today (Tuesday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Chapel, Queen St. N., Kitchener at 2 p.m.
Donations to the David Fisher Residence or St. Peter's Lutheran Church TV Ministry in remembrance of Phillip would be appreciated.
