SCHUMILAS, Ralph A. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ralph 'Chick' Schumilas into eternal life on Friday, February 26, 2016 in Kitchener, at the age of 60 in the comfort of his home. His spirit is carried on by his best friend and niece Candice Guay and great-nephew Dylan. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony Schumilas and Catherine (nee Ward). He is survived by his honourary families the Guay and Lynch who took him in as their own, his two sisters Theresa Schumilas and husband Peter of St. Agatha and their daughter Tanis, Dawn Schumilas and partner Don Happner of White Fox, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Koinonia Christian Academy music program to instill Ralph's love of music to children of all ages. Ralph's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
