    Abraham Biehn, "was born January 5th, 1850. He is married to Mary Cressman and resides near Freeport, on the farm formerly occupied by Mr. Mitchell. Their family consists of seven children".

    Biehn was born Jan. 5, 1850, in Waterloo Co., Ont.; died of heart failure at his home near Guernsey, Sask., Dec. 20, 1927; aged 77 y. 11 m. 22 d. He was confined to his bed only a few days, although he had been suffering from congestion of the lungs for some time. He was a consistent member of the Mennonite Church. In 1879 he was married to Mary Cressman and resided on a farm near Freeport, Ont. In 1906 they moved to Guernsey, Sask., which has since been their home. He is survived by his widow, 5 sons, 2 daughters, and 1 foster granddaughter: namely, Mrs. Manassah Toman, Ervin, Milton, Mrs. Noah Weber, Alvin, Anthony, Delton, and Mrs. Addison Gingerich; also 23 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at the Sharon Mennonite Church conducted by Bros M.H. Schmitt and I.S. Rosenberger. Text, I Cor. 15: 55-57. Burial in adjoining cemetery.

    Toman.-Elsie Biehn was born at Freeport, Ont., Dec. 18, 1879: died at the Humboldt Hospital on Sept. 29, 1947; aged 67 y. 9 m. 11 d. On March 26, 1902 she was married to Manassa Toman. In 1905 they moved to Guernsey, Sask. Surviving are 2 sons (Clarence, of Guernsey; and Willard, Waterloo, Ont.), 2 daughters (Mary-Mrs. Allen Cressman, and Loretta-Mrs. Wesley Shantz, both of Guernsey), and 12 grandchildren. Two daughters (Vera and Gertrude) predeceased her. Funeral services were held at the home and at the Sharon Mennonite Church, in charge of Dan Schlabach and Stanley Shantz. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Weber.- Louise, daughter of Abraham and Mary (Cressman) Biehn, was born near Freeport, Ont., Feb. 18, 1886; died at the University Hospital, Saskatoon, Sask., May 1, 1968; aged 82 y. 2 m. 13 d. On Mar. 25, 1913, she was married to Noah G. Weber, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons (Howard, Gordon, Willis, Floyd, and Lyle), 2 daughters (Myrtle-Mrs. Claude Schlabach and Irene-Mrs. Ivan Eby), 22 grandchildren, and 3 brothers (Milton, Anthony, and Alvin).     Biehn, Alvin Cressman, son of Abram and Mary (Cressman) Biehn, was born at Preston, Ont., Sept. 12, 1887; died at Saskatoon, Sask., Jan. 9, 1982; aged 95 y. In 1919, he was married to Edna Eby, who died on Nov. 20, 1965. Surviving are four children (Cledyth, Ralph, and Gerald Biehn, and Marion Nixon), 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Sharon Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Jan. 13, in charge of James Mullet; interment in Sharon Mennonite Church cemetery.

    Biehn.-Delton Biehn was born in Waterloo, Co., Ont., Aug. 7, 1894; died at Guernsey, Sask., Sept. 21, 1936, after an illness of only a few days; aged 42 y. 1 m. 14 d. He was married to Magdelena Eby who preceded him in death 8 years ago. This union was blessed with 3 children (George, Stewart, and Margaret) who, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters of the deceased survive to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at the home and at the Sharon Mennonite Church with Bro. M. H. Schmitt and Bro. B. B. Weber in charge. The body was laid to rest in adjoining cemetery.

    Gingerich. Gertrude Toman Gingerich, daughter of Manasseh and Elsie Toman, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., Feb. 2, 1903; died at Watrous Hospital, Watrous, Sask., Jan. 8, 1929; aged 25 y. 11 m. 6 d. She was united in marriage to Addison Gingerich on Dec. 22, 1925. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and many other relatives and friends. In youth she accepted Christ and united with the Sharon Mennonite congregation, near Guernsey, Sask. Failing in health for several weeks, her condition was such that an operation was necessary, after which she lived only a few days. Funeral services were held from the home of Delton Beihn and the Sharon church, conducted by M. H. Schmidt and I. S. Rosenberger. Text, 1 Thess. 4: 13, 14. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by his sisters Myra Brunk of Millbank, Ruby & Karl Regier of Saskatchewan, by brothers and sisters-in-law Grace Biehn of Stratford, Marlene & Mel Lichty of Stratford, Gary Gerber of Calgary, Betty Gilchrist & Dale Wood of Waterloo, Jamie & Karen Gerber of Wellesley.

    Predeceased by his parents Harold & Eileen (Shantz) Biehn, brother Maynard Biehn, brothers-in-law Don Brunk and Andrew Gerber, sister-in-law Sandra Gerber and mother and father-in-law Steve & Edna Gerber.

    Relatives and friends will be received at the Milverton Christian Fellowship, 6619 Perth Rd. 131 Milverton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Milverton Christian Fellowship on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00am. Reception to follow in the Church hall followed by burial in Rushes Cemetery.

    DELMAR KOCH

    Delmar Keith Koch, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Koch, died at the family residence near Conestogo Thursday, November 19, after a brief illness. He attended Conestogo Public School.

    In addition to his parents, surviving are a brother, Glen, one sister, Marlene and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Koch and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Biehn. A sister, Beverley Ann, predeceased him in 1941.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Saturday noon when removal was made to the home for private service Sunday at 2:00 p.m. A public memorial service followed at St. Jacobs' Mennonite Church. Bishop Roy S. Koch, assisted by Rev. Leonard Haarer, officiated. Interment was in St. Jacobs Cemetery.
