MRS. SOLOMAN SCHMIDT
Mrs. Soloman Schmidt, 85, of Millbank, died Friday, February 14th at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.
She was the former Lena Kuepfer and was born in Mornington Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John G. Kuepfer.
Surviving are: brothers, Eli, of Millbank; Allan and Benjamin, both of RR 1 Millbank; sisters, Mrs. Aaron (Clara) Ebersol, of Milverton; Mrs. Joseph (Nancy) Steckley, of RR 1 Milverton.
She was predeceased by her husband 17 years ago and by five brothers.
The body was at the family residence in Millbank where the funeral service was held Monday at 1 p.m.
Biship Joseph K. Jantzi officiated.
Burial followed in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery in Wellesley Township.
The funeral arrangements were made by Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley.

KUEPFER, Benjamin - Peacefully, to his eternal home, on Friday, February 22, 2008, at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, previously resided at Wellesley. He was born on September 23, 1910, 97 years ago. Beloved husband of Marion Nafziger Gerber whom he married December 17, 1936. They shared the joys of married life for 71 years. Son of the late John and Mary (Schwartzentruber) Kuepfer. He was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. He farmed at Kingwood, retiring in 1975. Beloved father of Willis and his wife Kathryn of Milverton, Ivan and his wife Anna Mae of Millbank, Irene Kuepfer of Wellesley, Nelson and his wife Elaine of Kingwood, Merrill and her husband Laverne Zehr of Crosshill, Verna and her husband Nelson Jantzi of Brunner. Grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandson, Brian; one stillborn grand-daughter and one great-granddaughter, Angela. Predeceased by three sisters and seven brothers, Lena, Jonas, Nick, Christ, Clara, Eli, Dan, Nancy, John and Allen. Milt was born in Mornington Township 85 years ago. Son of the late Nicholas S. Kuepfer and the late Elizabeth Bender. Milton was a member of the Crosshill Mennonite Church where he was active as a Sunday school teacher and trustee. He farmed at Crosshill and was a truck and school bus driver for many years. Later he was employed with Boshart Industries. He was also a willing volunteer. He retired in 1995.Beloved husband of Eva May (Erb) for 60 wonderful years. He was a son of the late Benjamin and Marion (Gerber) Kuepfer. Willis resided in Milverton and was formerly of RR# 1 Newton. He was a member of Cedargrove Amish Mennonite Church. Beloved husband of the late Kathryn (Gerber) Kuepfer. Wesley Gerald Kuepfer of Milverton, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Stratford General Hospital at the age of 61.
Dear husband of Lynda (Gerber) Kuepfer for 39 years. Loving father of Gerald (Rosie) of Fort McMurray, AB, Edwin of Lethbridge, AB, Heather of Elmira, Roland (Shannon) of Stratford, and Sharmayne of Milverton. Cherished grandfather of Sophie of Fort McMurray, AB. Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Clifford & Beatrice Kuepfer, Dennis & Josephine Kuepfer, and Calvin & Martha Kuepfer, as well as brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Doris & Ronald Lebold, Raymond Gerber, Mary Ellen & Arnold Yantzi, and Ralph & Maryann Steckley. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Wesley was predeceased by his parents, Willis & Kathryn (Gerber) Kuepfer, daughter Angela, his father-in-law & mother-in-law Raymond & Emma (Roes) Gerber, his step-father-in-law Amos Steckley, his brother Russell Kuepfer, his sister-in-law Deborah Gerber, and his brother-in-law Wayne Dotzert.
