GERBER, Steve J-Peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, on Monday, March 27, 2017 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Edna Albrecht (2012). Loving father of Marlene Lichty (Mel), Gary Gerber, Betty Lou Gilchrist (Dale Wood), Ruth Anne Biehn (Elvern), and Jamie Gerber (Karen). Dear grandfather of Tim, Jeff and Jeremy Lichty, Matthew and Jonathon Gerber, Sheldon Gilchrist, Shelley Wright, Trevor and Jason Biehn, Josalyn Hagen, Vanessa Erb as well as 21 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his sisters-in law and brother-in law Laura Gerber, Katie Gerber, Ruby Roth and William Albrecht. Predeceased by his daughter Sandra (1981) and son Andrew (2000). Steve was the former Pastor at Crosshill Mennonite Church for 25 years and served as an interim pastor at McArthurs Mills, Cassel and St. Agatha Mennonite churches. Steve had farmed at RR#1 Millbank and enjoyed travelling with Edna. Friends may visit with the family at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchinson Road, Crosshill on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 in the church at 2 p.m. Pastor Julie Ellison White officiating. Interment at Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Knollcrest Lodge or M.C.C. would be appreciated.

GERBER, Sandra Louise
On Friday, July 10, 1981, at her home, 211 Ahrens St., Kitchener, formerly of Crosshill. She was born in Alma township 38 years ago.
She was a member of the Crosshill Mennonite Church and was an employee of the March of Dimes Rehabilitation Centre for the past five years.
Beloved daughter of Rev. Steven and Edna Gerber of RR 1, Millbank; granddaughter of Mrs. Jacob (Lydia) Albrecht, of RR 1, Millbank; dear sister of Rev. Gary Gerber of Hamilton, James and Andrew, both of RR 1, Millbank and Marlene (Mrs. Melvin Lichty) of New Hamburg, Betty Lou (Mrs. Thomas Gilchrist) of Waterloo and Ruth Ann (Mrs. Elvern Biehn) of RR 4, Listowel. Lovingly remembered by two nieces and seven nephews.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, until noon Tuesday, July 14, when removal will be made to the Crosshill Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m., Rev. Irvin Erb and Rev. Alvin Leis officiating. Interment in Rush's cemetery, Wellesley township. Expressions of sympathy to the Mennonite Central committee.
