    DIETRICH, Louis (Lou) J.

    At K-W Hospital, on Saturday, March 11, 1989, after a lengthy illness, Louis Joseph Dietrich, of 700 Glasgow St., Unit 3, Kitchener, aged 54 years. He was member of St. Louis Church. He was president of Lou's Bearings and Transmission Ltd. for 25 years, was a member of Bearings Specialists Association, the Power Transmission Distributor Association and Westmount Golf and Country Club. Lou had played Junior A hockey with the Waterloo Hurricanes, the Windsor Spitfires and was captain of the Hamilton Red Wings. He played international hockey for two years with the Troy Bruins of Ohio and two years with the Cincinnati Mohawks. Mr. Dietrich played Senior A hockey for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Windsor Bulldogs. Husband of the former Helen Spellman; father of Louis Jr. at home, Peter and his wife Stefanie, Janet and Joan, all of Waterloo, brother of Douglas and Larry, both of Kitchener and Robert of Waterloo. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis Dietrich and former Ilene Kocher. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St W., Kitchener, where the parish prayers will be recited this evening (Monday) at 7: 30 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Louis Church, Waterloo, at 10: 30 a.m., with Father Bernie Hayes, CR, officiating. Interment will be in Parkview cemetery.
