It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on Wednesday October 17, 2007 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Faith (2004), loving father of Olga (Stephen) Fay, Ben Jr. (Ruth), Linda, dear father-in-law of Marilyn. He will be missed by his grandchildren Stephen, Kenneth, Gregory, Rosalie, Travis, Jason, and Shelly, his 12 great- grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son William and his grandson Bradley.

Mr. Wurr is resting at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1776 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with interment following at New Hope Cemetery.

Passed away, on Monday, February 19, 2007, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. William (Bill) Wurr, beloved husband of Marilyn, loving father of Jason (Shannon) of Guelph and Shelly (Peter) Zehr of Dallas. Dear grandfather of Halley, Alden, Quieten and Trenten, dear brother of Olga (Stephen) Fay of Breslau, Benny (Ruth) Wurr of Point Clark, and Linda Wurr of Wasaga Beach. Dear son of Ben and the late Faith Wurr. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Maureen Bryson.

A celebration of life for Bill will be held at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Friday afternoon, at 2 p.m.

Benjamin Lyne Wurr, of Point Clark, beloved husband of Ruth, passed away at the Kincardine Hospital on Thursday February 15, 2018 at the age of 77. He was born in Preston, ON on May 2, 1940 to the late Faith (Bowman) and Ben Wurr. Dear Father of Greg Wurr of Cambridge, Rosalie (Amy) Holstein of Cambridge and Travis Wurr of Goderich. Greatly missed by granddaughter Jennifer (Shahab) Ibrahim and great grandchildren Ben, Bradley and Bryson. Also survived by sister Olga Fay of Breslau, sister-in-law Marilyn Wurr of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Bill Wurr and sister Linda Wurr. A Funeral Service will be held from the Kincardine Baptist Church on Wednesday February 21, 2018 at 2 PM with visitation 2 hours prior (12-2 PM). Spring interment New Hope Cemetery, Hespler.

WURR, Linda Lewis - It is with heavy hearts and sadness that our family announces the passing of Linda Wurr on October 27, 2015 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at the age of 68. Our fun loving, happy go lucky and adventurous Linda leaves us all with memories of fun times and unlimited kindness. She will be fondly remembered for her radiant personality and her generous nature by her sister Olga Fay (Stephen Fay Sr.), her brother Benjamin Wurr (Ruth) and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Wurr (William d.2007). Her laughter will forever be imprinted in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who she adored with all she had. Family and friends are invited to the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge at 1pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015 to share memories and stories of Linda. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home at 2pm. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Linda's memory are encouraged to direct them to The Canadian Cancer Society .
