    John Francis Baker

    HESPELER - John Francis Baker of RR 2, Puslinch, died suddenly Sunday at South Waterloo Hospital. He was 64.

    Born in Hespeler, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Baker. He lived here until moving to Puslinch three years ago.

    Mr. Baker was employed by Galt Brass Co. Ltd. He served overseas during the Second World War. He attended the Presbyterian Church.

    Surviving besides his wife, the former Elsie Kendrick, are a son, Larry of Preston, a brother, Robert of Dundas; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Scott and Mrs. Charles (Lily) Stager, both of Hespeler, Mrs. Ira (Nettie) Jollin of Maple Wood, N.J. and Mrs. Elizabeth Cornell of Toronto, and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers.

    The body will be at the Nelson Funeral Home after 7 pm. Tuesday where the family will receive friends until 8:30 pm. A private service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. by Rev. Wallace Little of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Hespeler cemetery.
