Ferne Katherine Martin, age 76, of Stratford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 15, 2021. Born in Baden, ON, daughter of the late Stanley and Elda (Iutzi) Schmidt. Ferne is survived by her daughter Denise (Rick) Johnson, her grandchildren Casson and River and her great-grandson Declan. She will be remembered by her niece and nephews Bonnie (Andrew)Baille, Randy (Liz) Zehr and Perry Zehr and the "Martin" in-laws Edward (Irene) Martin, Jonathan (Judy) Martin and Grace Martin. Ferne was predeceased by her husband Joseph Anson Martin (March 2006) and her son Jeffrey (December 2003) along with her parents and her mother and father-in-law Lincoln and Mary (McLeod) Martin. Ferne's wishes are to be cremated and interred in Greenwood Cemetery (Milverton) with Joseph. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the W. G.
