Mrs. B. B. Krupp Dies In Woodstock Hospital
A beloved and esteemed resident of New Hamburg, Elisabeth Krupp, passed away in the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, in her 84th year. She had been in feeble health for some time and was taken to the hospital by her son, Dr. W. Krupp, last week when her condition became grave due to an attack of broncho-pneumonia.
The late Mrs. Krupp was born at New Dundee on September 18, 1868, a daughter of Samuel Toman and Lydia Hunsberger. About 64 years ago she was married to Benjamin B. Krupp and they settled on a farm in Blenheim Township, west of New Dundee. They farmed there successfully until they retired 30 years ago and moved to New Hamburg. Since residing here. Mrs. Krupp was a valued member of the Evangelical Church and of the Ladies Aid Society and endeared herself to a large circle of friends.
Her husband predeceased her on April 20, 1931. One son, Dr. W. W. Krupp, survives her, besides five brothers, Abram and Moses Toman, New Dundee, Samuel and William. Kitchener, Manassah, Guernsey, Sask., and three sisters, Mrs. Allan Bowman, New Dundee, Mrs. James Kitson, Stayner, and Mrs. Frank LaFrancois, New Dundee.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon with service at her late residence here at 2.30 o'clock, followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. J. B. Dengis will be in charge.

HUNSBERGER-Cyrus Hunsberger. 71. died Thursday at his home. 1627 Spruce street. He was born June 24 1864. in Blenheim. Ont and went with his parents to Fairgrove when he was 16. Mr. Hunsberger married Miss Ada Borland in May City in 1893. They came to Saginaw in 1900. Mrs. Hunsberger died Dec. 26 1926. and Mr. Hunsburger married Mrs, Emma Plamp May 8. 192[8] Mr. Hunsberger was a landscape cardener. He leaves his wife: four stepsons, Chester. Carl and William Plamp of Saginaw and Elmer Plamp at home two sisters. Mrs. Edward Schrodel and Mrs. Louis Gene of Hearst. Ont.. and two brothers. Peter Hunsberger of Pontiac, and Heman Hunsberger of Reese. The funeral will take place at 3:30 p. m. Saturday at W. I. Case & company chapel. Rev. A. H. Mrs. Lydia Schroedel, 88, of the Fairview Mennonite Home, Preston, died today after a lengthy illness. Born May 20, 1874 in New Dundee, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hunsberger. She came to the Twin City area in 1951 and had lived in Preston for the past eight years. She was also a resident of Vasser, Mich., for many years. Mrs. Schroedel was a member of Preston Mennonite Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Schroedel, in 1951. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. (Irene) Ferman of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The body will be at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, until 11 a.m. Monday when removal will be made to Preston Mennonite Church for the funeral at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Albert Martin. Burial will be in Blenheim Mennonite

DR. WESTON KRUPP, 88, retired Woodstock (Ontario) surgeon, died on January 24, 1968, in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he was spending the winter. A former member of The Canadian Medical Association, Dr. Krupp was on the directorate of the Ontario Medical Association from 1922 to 1928, when he became President of the Association.
Born in Blenheim Township in 1879, he graduated from the University of Toronto medical school in 1908. After a period of postgraduate study in London, England, he returned to Canada in 1911 and set up practice in Woodstock. He retired in 1936 after 25 years of medical practice.
Dr. Krupp was an honorary director of the Y.M.C.A. and a contributor to the Woodstock Y.M.C.A., where the pool bears his name. He was a world champion lawn bowler and represented Canada at the 1950 British Empire Games in New Zealand.
In 1936 he donated land on the shore of Lake. Erie for the new site of Fisher's Glen Camp, operated jointly by the "Y" and the Rotary Club. Dr. Krupp was single and the last immediate member of his family.

Well known Woodstock Doctor, Dr. Krupp, Died In Florida
Dr. Weston Krupp, who was well known by many residents of this area, died last Wednesday at St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 88 years, following a lengthy Illness.
He was born In Blenheim township, near New Dundee, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin B. Krupp of New Hamburg. He taught at Hallman's school near New Dundee until he entered medical school at Toronto. On graduating In 1908, he worked In Guelph for a time, then went to London, England fora post-graduate course.
Dr. Krupp returned to Canada In 1911 and practiced In Woodstock until he retired in 1936. He served on the directorate of the Ontario Medical Association from 1922 to 1928, and was president in 1928.
He was a member of Central United Church and the Oxford Masonic Lodge. He was active in the Woodstock Rotary Club and the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club, and for many years was a director of the YMCA. For the past six years he was an honorary director.
Widely known as a philanthropist, he donated land for a boys' camp on the shores of Lake Erie In 1936. It was operated by the Rotary Club and YMCA until 1962. When the new YMCA was built In Woodstock, he donated funds for a swimming pool which was named after him.
Dr. Krupp was the world singles lawn bowling champion in 1939 and represented Canada at the British Empire Games In New Zealand In 1950.
Following his retirement, he had lived at the Oxford Hotel, Woodstock, during the summer months and had spent the winter months in Fiorla Florida. He had never married. Surviving are several cousins.
The funeral service was held at the Rowell Funeral Home, Woodstock Saturday afternoon with Rev. A.E. Eustace officiating.
