Schenk, Roy W. - At K-W Hospital, on Monday, Aug. 20, 1984, following a lengthy illness, Roy Winfred Schenk, aged 70 years, of 108 Courtland Ave. E., Kitchener. Mr. Schenk was a very active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was employed with Leigh Marsland Engineering Ltd. for 25 years until his retirement. Beloved husband of the former Evelyn Morley; dear father of Ronald and his wife Ruth of Kitchener and Racene (Mrs. Gary Weber) of St. Catharines; dear brother of Verna (Mrs. Karl Moritz), Audrey (Mrs. Carl Lang) and Lucile (Mrs. Walter Rieck), all of Kitchener. Loving grandfather of Lauren Joel Weber, Rodney and Ronda Schenk. Predeceased by his parents, George Schenk and the former Gertrude Culhane; one brother, Webourne and one sister, Mrs. Ortha Stahle. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Tuesday), 7-9 pm and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street, Thursday at noon for funeral service at 2 pm, with Rev. Roger Winger and Rev. H. Tomesch officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
