Mrs. John Newland

PRESTON, Mrs. John Newland, 949 Queen St , Preston, died Friday, at her residence. She was 89. Born in Plymouth, England, she came to Preston, 40 years ago. Mrs. Newland was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Pepperal, she was predeceased by her husband, in 1951. Surviving are a son, Edward of Preston; a daughter, Mrs. Austin (Nora) L.ichty of Oakville, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements for cremation are being made by the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston.

Of 711 Hamilton St., Cambridge, on Friday. May 20, 1094, at her residence. Nora Newland, beloved wife of the late Austin Lichty (1977). Dear mother of Ron and Doreen Lehnen of Cambridge. Barry and Mary Lichty of Stroud and Sylvia and Arped Fenyviesi of Florida. Lifelong friend of Florence Christie of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of eight grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Newland and one brother. Edward Newland (1988). At Nora's request cremation has taken place.
