    RIDSDALE, Robert A.

It is with great sadness that we announce the gentle passing of Bob Ridsdale, at Kingston General Hospital, on January 31, 2013, in his 84th year. Bob was a kind, generous man with a quick wit and a song in his heart. Prior to his retirement in Kingston, Bob was the President of Ridsdale Steel Fabricating Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario but his passion was choral music. He had a golden bass voice and relished being part of the Tri City Barbershop Chorus, the Kingston Townsmen Barbershop Chorus and the choirs of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Cambridge, Sydenham Street United and Glenburnie United Church in Kingston. He will be greatly and sadly missed by his wife, Christine McMillan and by his children, Andrew (Xiaohui), Wayne (Robin), Susan Prange, Ross (Cathy), Rob McMonagle (Gail Hunter), Ann McMonagle (Barry Rasmussen) and his grand-children, Kaile, Tiegan, Cole, Dayton, Charlotte, Matthew, Emma and Galen. Memorial Service will be held at West Side Presbyterian Church (formerly St. Andrew's Church, corner of Victoria and Osborne St.), on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow.
