    CARTER, Mrs. Christina Died Thursday, April 9, 1981, at the Milverton Nursing Home.

    She formerly resided at RR 1, Newton. She was born in Mornington Township 87 years ago and was a member of the Amish Mennonite Church.

    Daughter of the late Solomon Kuepfer and the former Katherine Zehr. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Carter in 1972. Lovingly remembered by three sons; William, Joe and LeRoy, all of Mornington township; one daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Ephriam Steckley) of RR 2, Atwood; two brothers, Ezra of Milverton and Emmanuel of St Agatha; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Emmanuel; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters.

    Resting at her son's home, William Carter, Lot 2, Concession 7, Mornington township, until Sunday, April 12 where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Aaron J. Kuepfer officiating. Burial to follow at the 7th Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington township. Arrangements by the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Milverton.

    acob Z. Keupfer, 79, of Millbank died suddenly at his home Wednesday. Born in Mornington Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Soloman Kuepfer. He farmed in the township until 1946 when he retired to Millbank. For the past six years Mr. Keupfer has lived with his son, Elmer. Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Lichti; two sons, Elmer and Menno, RR 1, Newton; four brothers, Joseph and Ezra, RR 1, Newton, Emanuel, RR 1, St. Agatha and Solomon Seaforth; two sisters, Mrs. Christian (Mary) Kuepfer, RR 2, Atwood, and Mrs. Harold (Tina) Carter, RR 1, Newton; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of his son, Elmer, Lot 17, Concession 10, where the service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Bishop Amos Albrecht will officiate. Burial will be in the Amish Mennonite cemetery Wellesley Township.

    Ezra Z. Kuepfer, 92, of Milverton, died Friday at Stratford General Hospital.

    Born in Mornington Township on Jan. 16, 1892, he was the son of the late Solomon Kuepfer and the former Katherine Zehr. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lydia Bender, in 1966. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church in Millbank. He was also predeceased by four brothers and nine sisters.
    Mr. Kuepfer is survived by one son, Ivan, of Millbank; two daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Lottie) Kuepfer and Mrs. David (Lavina) Jantzi, both of Milverton, one brother, Emanuel, of St. Agatha; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral service was held Tuesday at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Rev. Glen Zehr officiated. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    Kuepfer.- Ezra Z., son of Solomon and Katherine (Zehr) Kuepfer, was born in Mornington Twp., Ont., Jan. 16, 1892; died at Stratford Hospital on Feb. 17, 1984; aged 92 y. On Nov. 12, 1914, he was married to Lydia Bender, who died in June 1966. Surviving are one son (Ivan), 2 daughters (Lottie-Mrs. Reuben Kuepfer and Lavina-Mrs. David K. Jantzi), 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one brother (Emanuel). He was preceded in death by 8 grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 9 sisters. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Feb. 21, in charge of Glenn Zehr and Dale Bauman; interment in Riverdale Cemetery.

    WELLESLEY\emdash Joseph Z. Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, died Sunday at Listowel Hospital after a brief illness. He was 86.
    Mr. Kuepfer was born in Mornington Township and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Soloman Kuepfer. He farmed at Peffers all his life and was a member of the Amish Mennonite faith.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia Jantzi, whom he married in 1903; four sons, Soloman, Daniel and Aaron, all of RR 1, Newton, and Menno of RR 2, Atwood; three brothers, Ezra of RR 1, Newton, Soloman of Seaforth, and Emmanuel of St. Agatha; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Tena) Carter of RR 1, Newton, and Mrs. Christian (Mary) Kuepfer of RR 2, Atwood; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, Katie; two brothers, and three sisters.
    The body is at his residence where the service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington Township. Bishop Samuel Steckly will officiate.

    Peter S. Kuepfer of R.R. 1 Millbank died Thursday, Mar. 30 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener. He was born in Mornington Township, in 1890, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kuepfer and farmed on the fifth line of Wellesley Township, retiring in 1965.

    He was predeceased by his wife, the former Veronica Herrford in 1965. Surviving are three sons, Solomon of R.R. 2 Milverton, Daniel and Amos both of R.R. 1 Millbank, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph N. (Lydia) Jantzi of Millbank, Mrs. Gideon (Annie) Streicher of R.R. 1 Milverton and Mrs. Michael (Esther) Streicher of R.R. 1 Newton; four brothers, David and Samuel, both of Millbank, Solomon, R.R. 1 Milverton and John of R.R. 1 Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Christ (Nancy) Kuepfer of Millbank and Mrs. John (Leah) Zehr of R.R. 1 Newton; 50 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, three sisters, two brothers, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    The body is at his home, fifth line of Wellesley Township, where the funeral service took place on Monday at 1 p.m. Burial followed in the seventh line Amish Mennonite cemetery in Wellesley township.

    Predeceased by her husband Christian K. Kipfer, November 12, 1944, and also by two sons, Samuel and Aaron and by eight brothers and six sisters.

    Steckley, Reuben     \endash On Thursday, Aug. 29, 1991, at Stratford General Hospital, Reuben Steckley, of Millbank and formerly of RR 1, Millbank.

    He was born in Elma township 86 years ago, a son of the late Mose Steckley and the former Rachael Kuepfer. He was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, RR 2, Wellesley, where he had been a former trustee and a member of the food committee.

    Beloved husband of the former Clara Schwartzentruber whom he married June 8, 1932. Dear father of Kenneth at home, Sharon and her husband John Scheerer of Millbank. Sadly missed by two grandchildren, Jeff and Judy; one brother, Solomon and his wife Ella of Bluevale, Ont., and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Steckley, of Milverton.

    He was predeceased by one son, Eldon in 1982; one brother, Menno; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Ropp, Mrs. Mary Gerber, and Mrs. Laura Kipfer.

She was predeceased by one granchild.

    The body rested at the family home at Lot 15, Con. 5 of Mornington Township until Sunday when the funeral service was held there at 1 p.m. Bishop William Carter officiated. Burial was in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington Township. Arrangements by the Heubner Funeral Home in Milverton.

    The last of her generation in both Kuepfer and Streicher families, she is survived by her 8 children, Henry (Helen), Ervin (Ella), Raymond (Velma), Eunice (Robert), Michael, Ruth, Robert (Beverly) and Deborah (Bernard), 12 grandchildren, Craig, Donovan, Anita, Susan, Trevor, Karen, Lelia, Garret, Stephanie, Ellen, Shawn and Michael. She is survived by 11 great grandchildren Dawson, Cassidy, Teagan, Rohen, Clara-Joy, Evelyn, Annabelle, Gwendolyn, Forest, Eden and Ivy Freda Esther. Her latest great granddaughter was born 6 days before her passing and carries her name.

    Esther was predeceased by husband Michael in 1996 and granddaughter Jolene in 2001, also by parents Veronica (Herrfort) and Peter S. Kuepfer, siblings Lydia (Joseph) Jantzi, Simeon (Katie) Kuepfer, Solomon (Clara) Kuepfer, Annie (Gideon) Streicher, John (infancy), Daniel (Clara) Kuepfer, and Amos (Lena) Kuepfer.

    Her family will treasure memories of her steadfast faith in God, the abundant flower and vegetable gardens she kept in her earlier days, the pure joy in seeing her grandchildren, her skill and love of quilting, and the keen talent she displayed playing Dominos and Dutch Blitz.

    Earl K. Kipfer, of R.R. 1 Millbank passed away Sunday, December 3 at the Stratford General Hospital at the age of 47 years.

    He was born in Wellesley Township, May 16, 1931 a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Chris Kipfer, who farmed at Lot 1, Conc. 7 of Wellesley Township.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Wagler; two sons, Alvin and Raymond, both at home, one step-son, Herbert Kuepfer, also at home; one daughter, Laura, at home, and one step-daughter, Ellen Kupefer, at home.

    Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph and Noah, both of R.R. 1 Millbank and two sisters, Mrs. Eric (Lena) Smith of R.R. 2 Atwood and Mrs. Allan (Emma) Horst of R.R. 4 Listowel.

    He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Tina Jantzi on Jul 28, 1977.

    Also predeceased by two brothers.

    Friends may call at the home of his brother, Noah Kipfer, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 6 at 1 p.m.

Kuepfer of RR 1 Newton, Elsie and her husband David Ebersol of RR 2, Milverton, Irma and her husband Lloyd Zehr of RR 1, Linwood, Perry and his friend Judy Albrecht, at home, Veronica and her husband Mosie Kuepfer of RR 1, Linwood. Sadly missed by their 26 grandchildren. Also missed by Muriel's mother, Veronica (nee Wagler) Albrecht of RR 1, Newton. Also remembered by Aaron's family, Sarah and her husband David N. Jantzi of RR 1, Milverton, Katie and her husband Menno Wagler of RR 1, Newton, Elizabeth and her husband Joe K.     On Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1988, at Stratford General Hospital, John Z. Kuepfer, of Millbank.

    He was born in Mornington township 61 years ago, a son of the late David S. Kuepfer and the former Mary Zehr. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith and was a vendor at the Waterloo Farmers' Market for over 13 years, and a vendor at the Milverton Sales Arena for a number of years.

    Beloved husband of the former Martha Kuepfer, whom he married Nov. 20, 1947. Dear father of Emmanuel and his wife Mary of Newton, Verna and her husband LeRoy Kuepfer of RR 1, Milverton, Eileen and her husband Solomon Jantzi of RR 1, Millbank, Viola and her husband Menno Streicher of Millbank, Barbara and her husband Harvey J. Jantzi of RR 1, Milverton. Sadly missed by three sisters, Tena (Mrs. Joel Kuepfer) of Millbank, Katie (Mrs. Harvey N. Jantzi) of RR 1, Milverton and Sarah (Mrs. Joe Albrecht) of RR 1, Newton. Lovingly remembered by 25 grandchildren.

    He was predeceased by two sons, Ivan and Norman in infancy; one grandson, Stephen; one brother, Allan; two sisters, Mrs. Bena Kuepfer and Mrs. Miriam Albrecht.

    Friends and relatives may call at LeRoy Kuepfer's home, RR 1, Milverton, Lot 1, Con.2, Wellesley West, after 7 p.m. today, and until Friday, where the service will be held at 1 p.m., with Bishop Joseph K. Jantzi officiating. Interment to follow in the 7th Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Wellesley township.
