    GARNER, Jean E. - At The Westmount Long Term Care Facility, on Friday, April 4, 2008, with her family by her side. The former Jean Eleanor Boyer, aged 83 years. Jean was a member of The Westmount Golf and Country Club, the K-W Art Gallery, and the Granite Club. Loving mother to Keith Boyer Augustine and his wife Margaret Newport of Hamilton and Barbara Hooper of New Liskeard; sister to John Boyer and his wife Patricia of Waterloo and Bob Boyer and his wife Beverly of Cambridge. Cherished Nana Jean to Keri and her husband Simon Hayes, Brett DeShane, Anne Hooper Johnston and her husband Michael, Jonathan Hooper and his wife Julianne Steeves, Andrew and Alison Augustine. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur Boyer and Frederica Wilkie; her first husband, Albert Jacob Augustine in 1990; her second husband, John Garner in 2002; one daughter, Patricia Anne Augustine DeShane; one brother, Keith, killed during the Second World War. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 to 2: 30 p.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W., Kitchener. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. Janis Hamalainen officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society as expressions of sympathy though the funeral home.
