    The funeral of William Ziegler of Bridgeport was held Saturday from his late residence to the Bridgeport Lutheran Church and cemetery. Mr. Ziegler, who passed away July 23rd, at the age of 73 years is survived by six sons, Edward of Kitchener, Harry of Detroit, Milton of Unity, Sask., Herbert of Moose Jaw, Jacob and Charles of Kichtener, three daughters, Mrs. Albert Rank, Bridgeport, Mrs. Scholl, Monkton and Mrs. Frederick Delion, Kitchener, four brothers, Jacob of Heidelberg, Henry, Waterloo, Louis, Brandon, Man., and John of Mich., four sisters, Misses Katie and Rose Ziegler, Detroit, Mrs. W. Schaefer, Heidelberg and Mrs. Wm. Veitel, Waterloo, 23 grandchildren and three great grand- children.

After owning and operating a transportation company, Gerth Transport, for over 20 years Rick semi-retired. He went on to assist his daughter Cherie in another transport company, Keypoint Carriers. 16 years thereafter he fully retired and enjoyed his ""need for speed"" with his OuterLimits boat and raced in many poker runs in the beautiful state of Florida and in Ontario. Richard touched the lives of family and friends with his generous loving nature. A pillar in his family, a loss that will leave us truly heartbroken.
