    Notes:

    Amos W. Bauman, 74 died Monday, November 24 at his home in Floradale following a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Bauman and was born in Floradale August 29 1890. Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia Martin, one daughter, Mrs. Tilman (Lucinda Wideman) RR2, Wallenstein, four sons, Alvin of Kitchener, Henry of Drayton, Norman of Wallenstein and Emerson of Waterloo. 22 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The body will be at Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Thursday evening when removal will be made to his home in Floradale. A private funeral service will be held at the home Friday morning and then to the North Woolwich Mennonite Church for public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    Notes:

    Mrs. Isaac G. Martin of 32 Church St. W.Elmira, died at her home Tuesday after a brief illness. She was 75.

    The former Susannah Bauman, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Bauman and was born in Woolwich Township Sept. 26. 1893. She was married to Josiah B. Martin who predeceased her in 1945. Her second husband, Isaac G. Martin, predeceased her in 1964.

    Surviving are two sons. Aden of RR 2. Wallenstein, and Moses of RR 3, Waterloo; one daughter Mrs. Ivan (Ida) Bearinger of RR 2. West Montrose: three stepsons, Henry of Kitchener, Jacob of Ottawa and David of Elmira: 30 grandchildren and eight great-grand- children. She was predeceased by one son and two brothers.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where a short service was conducted Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by removal to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for a further service. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    Bauman. --- Henry W., son of the late Aaron M. and Lydia Bauman, was born Nov. 2, 1899, at Floradale, Ont.; passed away April 14, 1950, at the place of his birth; aged 50 y. 5 m. 12 d. On Feb. 24, 1925, he was united in marriage to Rebecca Brubacher, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (Orton and Lester, at home; and Clara, Kitchener, Ont.), one brother (Amos), one sister (Susanna-Mrs. Josiah Martin), and a large number of other relatives and friends. He had been enjoying excellent health when he was suddenly called from this life. He had a cheery disposition and was always ready with a kind word and a smile. A faithful and active member of the Floradale Mennonite Church, he had been ordained to the office of deacon about a year ago. Funeral services were conducted April 16 at the home and at the Floradale Church by E. J. Schwalm, Oliver D. Snider, and Reuben Dettwiler. Text: Acts 13: 36. Interment was made in the new, adjoining cemetery

    At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on July 31, 1991 age 78 years. Mr. Bauman was a member of the Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly and was a contractor in this area for many years until his retirement. He leaves to mourn a very dear friend, Viola Kurt. Father of Marjorie Schauber and her husband Tom of RR 2, Wallenstein, Dorothy Lehmann and her husband James of Waterloo, James Bauman and his wife Elizabeth of Kitchener and David Kurt of Mississauga. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Linda, Laura, Lisa, Christine, Melody, Kevin, Jason and Warren and his great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Melissa, Brian, Adam, Matthew, Scott and Andrew. Brother of Henry and his wife Almeda of Alma, Emmerson and his wife Marion of Arthur, Lucinda Wideman and her husband Tilman of RR 2, Wallenstein. Predeceased by his parents, Amos and Lydia Bauman and brother, Norman. Predeceased by his parents, Josiah B. and Susannah (Bauman) Martin; step-father, Isaac Martin; three brothers, Amsey, Jacob and Henry Martin; one granddaughter, Rosanne Lichty; one sister-in-law, Donna Martin. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira today (Tuesday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Wednesday, transfer will be made to Crystal View Mennonite Church, Floradale for funeral service at 1: 30 p.m. with Pastors Mark Brubacher and Robert Bauman officiating. Followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.In his memory, donations to Christian Aid Ministries would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
