    Notes:

    Roth, Michael, son of the late Daniel and Rebecca (Swartzendruber) Roth, was born at Tavistock, Ont., Feb. 6, 1889; died at Strathroy, Jan. 15, 1967; aged 77 y. 11 m. 9 d. On Jan. 4, 1912, he was married to Nancy Gascho, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Lloyd), 2 daughters (Erma--Mrs. John Roth and Gladys), one sister (Mrs. Sarah Ingold), 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. One daughter (Seleda--Mrs. Ed Roth) predeceased him. He was ordained in August 1941 to serve as deacon in the Steinman Church, where he served until 1949, when the family moved to Ailsa Craig. He continued to serve as deacon there at the Nairn Church as long as health permitted. Funeral services were held at the Nairn Church, Jan. 17, with Wilfred Schlegel, J. Harding, and Elmer Schwartzentruber officiating.

Gascho and Mary Schultz) was born 17 Jul 1891, Baden, Wilmot Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 25 Aug 1981, Strathroy, Middlesex Co., Ontario, Canada; was buried , Nairn, Middlesex Co., Ontario.     ROTH, Lloyd G. - Suddenly, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, in Midland, on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1990, Lloyd G. Roth, of Ailsa Craig, Ont., In his 74th year.

    Beloved husband of the late Alma (Gingerich) Roth. Dear father of Lloyd Dale and Darlene Roth of Kitchener, Gertrude Squire of Vancouver and Dennis and Marta Roth of Fort Erie; dear grandfather of Ben and Mary Lou, Karen and Brent, Brad and Eva, Dale and Michelle, Jennifer, James and Sharon, Jeff, David, Matthew and Aaron; dear great-grandfather of five great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gladys Roth and Erma (Mrs. John Roth). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Seleda Roth.

    Resting at the T. Stephenson and Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. S at 2 p.m. from Nairn Mennonite Church, with Rev. Karen James Abra and Rev. Rufus Jutzi officiating. Interment Nairn Mennonite Church cemetery.     ROTH, Mrs. Erma Eileen - On Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg.

    She was formerly of Ailsa Craig and London, Ont. and was born in Wilmot township 74 years ago, a daughter of the late Michael and Nancy (Gascho) Roth. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church where she was a member of the WMSC. Erma had taught bible club to young girls and community summer bible school in Ailsa Craig. She had been a foster mother in her earlier years and enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing crafts as her hobbies.

    Beloved wife of John L. Roth of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, whom she married September 12, 1946. Loving mother of Marlin and his wife Louise of Waldeim, Sask., and Grace and her husband John Grzybouski of London. Dear grandma to Lara Lee and Christopher. Also remembered by one sister, Gladys Roth of Ailsa Craig. She was predeceased by one brother, Lloyd G. and his wife Alma Roth and one sister, Seleda and her husband Ed Roth.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Friday, Feb. 17, 1995 from 7-9., Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until Sunday at noon, when transfer will be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Emmanuel George officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church, Mennonite Central Committee or the Alzheimer Society.
