William Heldman By Record Correspondent

PHILIPSBURG, Feb. 16-The death of William Heldman, 78, occurred early today at his residence following a stroke. Mr. Heldman had been ill a week.

Born at Philipsburg. he was the son of the late Kenneth Heldman and Elizabeth Hoerle. A farmer, he had retired some years ago. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. His wife, the former Ann Wettlaufer, predeceased him 16 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, Elmer and Webourne of Philipsburg and Reinhardt of Baden. Nine grand- children, two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Edward, Kitchener, also survive.

The remains will rest at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley, until Monday at five o'clock when they will be moved to the late residence. A private funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 followed by a public service at Zion Lutheran Church at 2:45. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. S. S. Friedrichsen will officiate.

WEBBOURNE HELDMAN

Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Bruce Omand Funeral Home. New Hamburg for Webbourne Heldman. a resident of the Golden Years Nursing Home. Preston, for the past three years, and formerly of Phillipsburg. who died at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, last Wednesday.

Mr. Heldman was 72 years of age.

Born May 25. 1896 in Phillipsburg, the deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Heldman and was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Phillipsburg and the Canadian Order of Foresters.

Surviving are two brothers. Elmore of Kitchener and Reinhardt of New Hamburg.

Rev; Ernest Felker of Zion Lutheran Church officiated at the services.

Burial took place in the church cemetery.

Elmore Andrew On Saturday, April 16, 1983, at Stratford General Hospital, Elmore Heldman, age 81, of The People Care
Centre, Tavistock. He was a life member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg; Elmore also was a member of the Canadian Order of Forresters, for over 50 years; he had farmed in the Phillipsburg area for most of his life and had also been employed at J.M. Schneider's Inc., retiring in 1966.

Beloved husband of the late Viola Falk, who predeceased him in 1977. He is lovingly remembered by his five children, Wallace of White Rock, B.C., Mrs. Sam (Marcie) Johnston of RR 4, Listowel, Mrs. Joe (Ruth) Szewczyk of Waterloo, Vernan of New Hamburg and Mrs. Chris (Shirley) Lohmer of Kitchener. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. He was predeceased
by his parents, William A. Heldman and the former Elizabeth Wettlaufer; one son, Kenneth Edward; two brothers, Reinhardt and Webbourne.

Friends were received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, until noon Tuesday, April 19 when transfer was made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran church for a service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Kranz officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

BECKER, Vera Passed away peacefully at Nithview Community on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in her 96th year. Vera was born in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Reinhardt Heldman and former Louise Berg. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Becker who predeceased her in 1990. Loving mother of Barbara Becker of New Hamburg, David Becker of St. Thomas, Peter Becker of Grand Bend and Edward Becker of New Hamburg. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Nyle and Ingrid Heldman of Barrie and Eileen McIntyre of Elmira. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Vera was predeceased by brother Roland Heldman and first wife Rose and second wife Ruby, sister Anna and Herb Gifford, brothers-in-law Harvey and Florence Becker, Bruce McIntyre, sister-in-law Lillian and Nelson Seyler. Vera was an active and involved member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering with numerous organizations on New Hamburg and area. She loved her gardens and her flowers. Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, 3357 Erb's Road, Philipsburg on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Joanna Miller officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.

Elmore Heldman

PHILIPSBURG.-Friends sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Heldman in the death on Tuesday of their three-months-old son, Elmore Heldman. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Wallace and Vernon, and two sisters, Marcella and Ruth, all at home.

Funeral services are being held at the parents home on Firday afternoon, followed by services at Zion Evangelienl Lutheran Church Philipsburg. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
