MRS. ELIZA FAIRBAIRN

The death occurred in Guelph General Hospital on Friday afternoon of Mrs. Eliza, Fairrbairn in her 73rd year. Mrs. Fairbairn had been ill for only ten days. Born on the 8th concession, North Dumfries township, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Fraser. For many years she had been living with her son in St. Catharines, but she was well known in Ayr, Sheffield and Galt. For the past two years she had been living with a granddaughter in Guelph,

Mrs. Fairbairn's husband passed away in 1898 and a sister, Mrs. John W. Bell of Ayr, in September of 1935. She is survived by one son, James of St. Catharines; one brother, John B. Fraser, Glenmorris; one sister, Mrs. George Cadwell, Drumbo, and four grandchildren. The funeral took place from Galt on Monday afternoon to the Ayr Cemetery.
