Birch (Kropf) Josephine (JoJo) - Peacefully surrounded by her family, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, Josephine (JoJo) Sally Birch (Kropf) nee Olender, age 71 years, of Kitchener. Mrs. Birch was a member of St. Mark's RC Church and also the Forest Heights Senior's Solo Club. Dear mother of Rick Kropf and his wife Beryl, Gary Kropf and his wife Mary, all of Kitchener, Alan Kropf and his wife Della of Conestogo. Lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Ian and Tyler Kropf. Loving sister of Mike Olender and his wife Joan of Cambridge, Stanley Olender and his wife Georgina of Hepworth, John Olender and his wife Gladys of Kitchener, Bernice and her husband Ken Clancy of Florida, Ann Kressler of Kitchener and Mary and her husband Eric Gronman of Apsley. Also survived by her former husband, Percy Kropf. Predeceased by her parents, John and Veronica Olender; two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Olender and one sister, Helen Klusek. A memorial service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Father Bill Trusz officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Cremation with internment in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
