SCHAEFER, Albert George

Died peacefully, on Monday, April 4, 1988, at K-W Hospital, Albert George Schaefer, age 82 years, of 26 Dorset St., Waterloo. He was born in Waterloo and was employed at Mutual Life Assurance Company, Waterloo, for 46 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd; the IOOF Germania Lodge; a founding and honorary life time member of the Twin City Rifle Association, Son of the late George B. and Katherine Schaefer. Husband of the former Margaret Bender; father of George and his wife Sandra of Thornhill and Elaine and her husband George Schertzer of Kitchener; grandfather of four grandchildren, Tawny and Trevor Schaefer, Laurie and Gary Schertzer. Mr. Schaefer's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Rev. Eric Allison officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hope cemetery.
