  FREITAS, Joao De Sousa It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joao De Sousa Freitas. Devoted husband to Maria de Lourdes Freitas, and loving father of Juve, Joe, Connie, John, Nancy, and Steven, and grandfather of Tristan, Brandon, and James. We are grateful and privileged to have shared part of our respective life journeys with him and remain inspired by his life's guiding principles, optimism, faith, and determination and his deep-rooted sense of morality and fairness. In life, he was our ballast. In his passing, he will be our beacon from the heavens, as we sail the turbulent seas of life. We will sorely miss his kinship, compassion, humor, and generosity. He will live on forever in our memories and in our hearts. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, on Friday, from 7-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 185 Elgin St. S., Cambridge on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
