Notes - AMARAL, Nathan - February 18, 1988 to September 18, 2007. It is with very heavy hearts that Tony and Linda tell you about the passing of their beloved son; guardian and big brother to Nicole; best friend and soul mate to Colleen Szentimrey. He will be greatly missed by his grandparents, Manuel, Palmira Amaral and Bob, Ann Goodsell, along with his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nate fought an eight month battle against cancer, during which time we celebrated his 19th birthday. His positive attitude, humour and love for life helped him and us through this time. We invite family and friends to join us for a casual open house on Sunday September 30, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. at John Bayus Park Hill in Sheffield to celebrate Nate's life. We would like to express thanks to our family for the love, support and comfort they have provided, and our appreciation to Nate's school and hockey friends for visiting and spending time with him. A special thanks to Nate's friends and supporters at Flagraiders Paintball and the nurses and caregiver from Aberdeen. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the "Amaral Family Trust" account number 165-6347804, at any TD Canada Trust branch. The trust will be used as a scholarship for students furthering their education in a manufacturing trade. "If tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart. For every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart."
