Notes |
- East Side Millinery Opening.
Among all the stores which have taken on their Easter season dress, one of the most artistically decorated on the east side is that of S. E. Werner, the well known Gratiot avenue milliner. Sixteen years ago Mr. Werner started in the millinery business, and his enterprise and reputation for fair dealing have built up his business to a point which others in the same line. might well envy, Mr. Werner has always catered to a substantial class of trade. and has made it a point to have the prices of his goods represented in the materials of which they were made. To this latter principle is no doubt in a great measure due the building up of a patronage which remains with him from year to
year. Mr. Werner holds his spring opening on Menday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Palms, roses and smilux form a pleasing setting for his display of hats, which this year is unusually attractive. Tuesday evening an orchestra will furnish selections for the entertainment of visitors, and there is no doubt that his salesroom will be well filled with his many patrons.
