    • Alison L. Currie Passes - Alison L. Currie of RR 3, Bright, died Sunday at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, after a brief illness. He was 58. Born July 7, 1911 at Forest, he was a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Lachlan H. Currie and lived at RR 3, Bright, for eight years. Until his retirement in December, 1968, he was employed with the federal agricultural department, livestock production and marketing division. He was an officer in the Royal Canadian Artillery during the Second World War and served overseas. Surviving is his wife, the former Margaret Janzen. Service was held today (Wed.) in Kitchener. Rev. D. E. Willis of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.

      Alison L. Currie of RR 3, Bright, died Sunday at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, after a brief illness. He was 58.

      Born July 7, 1911 at Forest, he was a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Lachlan H. Currie and lived at RR 3, Bright, for eight years. Until his retirement in December, 1968, he was employed with the federal agricultural department, livestock production and marketing division. He was an officer in the Royal Canadian Artillery during the Second World War and served overseas.

      Surviving is his wife, the former Margaret Janzen.
