    • Amasa L. Bowman, "was born November 26th, 1847. He resides in the town of Berlin. Some time during the year 1879 he was appointed by the Dominion Government as custom officer for this port of entry. His office is in the post office building. He was married to Aggie Nellie Tisdale. She died December 26th, 1891, leaving a family of two children"

      Bowman - September 22, 1918, Amasa Lewis Bowman in Buffalo, N. Y. aged 71 years and 10 months. Survived by two daughters, Edith Bowman and Mrs. C. P. Walser, and three sons, norval T. of Toronto, Canada, Court and Walter Bowman of Buffalow. Funeral from residence. No. 367 Franklin street, Tuesday afternoon, September 24, 1918 at 2 o'clock.
