  BOWMAN, ANNA CATHERINE (Nee Fetter) On Saturday, December 29, 1928, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cutting of Waterloo Township, in her 84th year. She had been a resident of Hespeler for about fifteen years, coming here from Galt. Her husband, Joseph Bowman predeceased her by some thirteen years. She was born in Germany. Survived by seven daughters: Mrs. J. Wheeler of Toronto; Mrs. Hugh Johnston of Brantford; Mrs. Henry Leach of Oshawa; Mrs. Harry Black of Guelph; Mrs. Gordon McDonnell of Windsor; Mrs. Ed Cutting of Waterloo Township; and Mrs. W. Black of Hespeler; three sons, John Bowman of London; William and Albert Bowman of Hespeler; fifty-eight grandchildren, seventy great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. Black to the Hespeler Cemetery, with Rev. H. L. Merner conducting the service. Pallbearers: Gordon Black of Guelph; Leslie Cutting of Hespeler; Nelson Cutting of Brantford; Gordon and Wellington Cutting of Glen Christie; and Laverne Jones of Guelph. -Information from Our Germans Were Linked Though Puslinch Township by Chris Bowman and B. & B.
