  RESENDES, Antonio Paiva Suddenly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday April 20, 2009, at the age of 77. Loving and devoted husband of Maria. Cherished father of Zelia (Antonio Evaristo) Figueiredo, Aida Resendes (Frenando Peres) and Joe (Lucy Dutra). Special grandfather of Cristina, Jordan, Lissa, Simon, Ryan and Amanda. Antonio will also be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, family members and friends. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Waterloo Regional E.M.S., their family, neighbour Eva, as well as the Canadian Red Cross (Elaine and Shirley) for their care.
