  SHANTZ, Arnold Of 3947 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, Ont., at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Desmond Singleton, 1227 Fairview Rd., Cambridge, on Saturday, Sept. 5, 1981. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Fowler; dear father of Rev. Gerald Shantz of St. Catharines and Arnold of Kitchener, in his 67th year. Also survived by two brothers, Robin of Cambridge and Douglas of Ottawa, and two sisters, Lois (Mrs. Russell Schrumm) and Marjorie (Mrs. Desmond Singelton), both of Cambridge, and three grandchildren. Mr. Shantz was born in Toronto and was a resident of Cambridge for a number of years, moving back to Toronto one year ago. Retired from Hostess, Cambridge. A veteran of the Second World War. Funeral services were held today, Tuesday at 2 p.m., in St. John's Anglican Church, Elora. Interment in Parklawn cemetery. Arrangements by the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home.
