- VANDENBOSCH, Arnold
Formerly of Monteith, Ontario, Arnold passed away in Burlington, following a long and fruitful life at the age of 91 years. Arnold Vandenbosch, dear husband of the late Mary (nee Vermue 1993). Cherished Father of Monique of Ottawa, Vera and her husband Rick Vascotto of Burlington and Edward of Milton. Loving Opa to Eric, Nicholas and Natalie Vascotto and Hayden and Derek Vandenbosch. Survived by his siblings: Nel, Riet, Jo, Ben, Jos and Gerard all of Holland. Predeceased by his siblings: Leo, Wim, Annie and Cors. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and friends in Holland and Ontario. Arnold went out of his way to help others. He enjoyed many hobbies including stained glass, wood working, classical music, gardening and canoeing at his cottage at Munro Lake. He was the past president of the Iroquois Falls and District Horticultural Society. Family and friends visited at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME, 114 Main St. Milton, on Sunday. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 139 Martin St. Milton on Monday, October 3, 2011. Interment followed at Mount View Cemetery, in Cambridge.
