  AURELIUS BERBERICH A former resident and a native of North Easthope township, A.U. (Bill) Berberich of Kitchener died Thursday of a heart attack. He was 77 years of age. One of the senior business men of Kitchener both from the standpoint of age and years in business, he had operated a smoke shop for nearly 50 years. Mr. Berberich was born in North Easthope September 5, 1890, and was a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. William Berberich. The family moved to New York state and in 1929 went to Kitchener, where Rev. Berberich assumed the ministry of the Evangelical United Brethren Church on Weber Street. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Laura) Ernst and Emma J. Berberich, both of Kitchener. The service was hold at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with Rev. G.F. Barthel officiating. Interment was in the Evangelical cemetery at St. Jacobs.
