Notes - BALKISSOON, Barsati - Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the age of 77. Loving husband of the late Sookhia 'Pinky' (1998) Beloved father of Rai in of Cambridge, Khemraj of Cambridge, Govin 'Richard' of Ajax, Priscilla Bridgmohan of Cambridge, Pamela Ramnarain of Etobicoke, Salena Persaud of Cambridge and Monica Ramsahoye of Ajax. Father-in-law of Savitri, Amos, John, Suresh, Paul, Brother. Dear grandfather pf Tony, Desmond, Bobby, Sherry, Sharlene, Gerald, Amanda, Darryl, Derek, Diane, Debra, Avila, Debbie, Vishal, Naresh, Vickey Lisa, Sarah, Stephanie, Nicholas. Grandfather-in-law to Devi, Aida, Maria, Wayne, Indra Amrita and Sonny. Great-grandfather of 16. He will be missed by his brothers, Jaichand, Victor and Balram, all of New York, and Balo 'Baljit' of Cambridge Predeceased by his daughter, Christine Shivdarsan (2003); by his brothers, Bisram and Sadhu; and by his sisters, Janie and Katie. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 12 2009 and Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday August 15, 2009 at 9: 30 a.m. Cremation to follow at Parkview Crematorium, 335 University Ave. E., Waterloo. www.corbettfuneralhome.ca
