  BECKER, Bernice (nee Yanke)-In her 88th year, passed away, at Braemore Retirement Centre, Wingham, on Sunday, April 16, 2000. Mrs. Becker was a member of Benton Street Baptist Church, Kitchener. Beloved wife of Henry Becker of Wingham. Survived by a step-son, Carl Becker of Kitchener; sister-in-law of Leona Snyder of Kitchener and Bertha Becker of New Hamburg. Survived by nieces, Kathryn Found of White Rock, B.C., Esther Andrew of Kitchener and many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by a great-niece, Judy Riseborough of Owen Sound.. Predeceased by her sister, Clara Vetter; brother, Albert Yanke; parents, Henrietta and Otto Yanke. Mrs. Becker's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St S., Waterloo, tonight (Tuesday) 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 3 p.m., with Rev. Gary Fischer officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
